Vesak Program 2025

We are delighted to warmly invite you to the Tisarana Vesak Celebration 2025, which will be held on Sunday, 11th May, beginning at 8:30 AM.

To ensure smooth planning and arrangements, we kindly request you to complete your registration by Monday, 5th May.
Your early confirmation will help us make the necessary preparations and create a wonderful experience for everyone.

Your presence and participation are truly valued, and we look forward to sharing this special occasion with you.

08:30 – Arrival
09:00 – 11:15 – Seela Samadana for adults and children (parallel sessions)
11:15 – 12:45 – Buddha Puja and Dana (Lunch) (Children’s Sil program ends at 11:15)
13:00 – 15:00 – Vesak Kudu Workshop for children (Tisarana will provide “put-together” kits. Children from Steinerskolen will be invited.)
13:00 – 14:00 – Parallel Sessions for Adults:

• Dhamma Discourse & Guided Meditation (English)
• Dharmadeshana (Sinhala)

14:00 – 15:00 – Visit to the basement and discussion on future temple development projects
15:00 – Refreshments and Closing

 Special Notes:

• The Vesak Sil Program starts at 09:00 with parallel sessions for children and adults.
  (Uturusalu and Patkada robes are available at the temple.)
• Dana (Lunch) Arrangement:
  To streamline preparations and maximize participation in Dhamma activities, we kindly request:
  • Limit lunch to four items and four types of fruits for dessert (pineapple, mango, melon, and papaya).
  • A few cakes will also be served with tea and coffee.
• Participation Form:
  Please confirm your participation and indicate what you wish to prepare (Dana/Lunch, Dessert, or Cake) by filling out the form shared over the email.
