We warmly invite all Sri Lankan Buddhists living in Norway to become members of Tisarana Sri Lanka Buddhist Association. Membership is completely free, and registering takes only a few minutes using your Bank ID. You can apply directly through the Buddhistforbundet portal using the link below.
Although membership is free, it enables Tisarana to receive important financial support from the Norwegian government. This support is the main source of income for the association. Along with generous donations from our members and well-wishers, these funds help us maintain our beautiful temple, which is open to all — members, families, Buddhists of various backgrounds, and even non-Buddhists seeking peace and connection.
If you have children under 15, they can also be registered under your profile. This ensures they’re part of the Buddhist community from an early age.
How to register children under 15:
Click the black text box labeled “Min side”
In the yellow top band, select “Profil”, then click “Min profil”
Click the green button “Meld barn” (which means “Register child”)
