Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara in Hurdal has been officially opened on 3rd July 2021 with the participation of distinguished guests Sri Lanka ambassador to Norway, H.E. Godfrey Cooray, the mayor of Hurdal, Paul Johan Moltzau, Bishop Atle Sommerfeldt, Diocese of Borg, Secretary-General Buddhist Federation of Norway, Egil Lothe, acting parish priest in Hurdal, Karin Krissly, Tisarana Members and residents of Hurdal. This was organized by the Sri Lanka Buddhist vihara and Tisarana Buddhist Association with the guidance of chief monk M. Manirathana thero and resident monk U. Pemananda thero.
