One of the main constraints in promoting and practicing the Theravada Buddhism in Norway is the lack of a Sri Lankan Buddhist temple.

Tisarana has launched the idea of establishing a temple in Norway with a resident Sri Lankan monk. Possibilities, alternatives and mechanisms are continuosly under evaluation, and updated information are posted here.
